Resting Place

On July 11, 2010 we put my dad in his resting place. We had a small ceremony at La Casa De Cristo in the memorial gardens where my dad is now officially resting. It is nice to have him somewhere where we can go and visit with him but it is also a reminder that this is real. Dad is not coming back. It was nice to be surrounded by family and once again share many wonderful memories of my dad. We have been up to see him now 3 or 4 times. It is so great to have him there. Again, thank you to everyone who has shown my family and me love and support through this tender time.

Dad, I love you and will come and visit you at every opportunity I have. I hope you are at peace and are comfortable. We miss you and still cry for you daily. Meg

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

A WeT and WiLdE Birthday

Today Presley turned 3! I can hardly believe how fast the last 3 years have gone. We have so much fun with our little Presley. A couple of us went to the Wet and Wild water park today to celebrate. This was the girls first time and they had a blast. They went on slides, the lazy river and the wave pool. What great afternoon with friends.

Presley and Peyton going down some slides....Presley is on the right underneath the water splashing!

Our little birthday girl!!

And what would a birthday be without cake? We had a pink Barbie cake for Presley
Gifts...the best part.
Presley got an entire hair saloon set up for her birthday. Uncle Mike was her first customer! She loves giving hair cuts so if you would like to make an appointment she would love it!
Thanks Uncle Mike for playing :)
Happy Birthday Presley! You are such wonderful girl. We love every minute we have with you and you brighten our lives everyday. We love your spunk and your kind spirit. We can't believe you are 3! You are turning into such a little lady. It is neat to watch you use your imagination, learn your letters and numbers, share with your friends and sisters, and give 100% in all that you do. Good luck this year with lots of exciting things coming your way..school, dance, music, you name. Watch our world here she comes.

We love you Presley Lynn!!!
Happy Birthday
