2 month check up

Presley had her 2 month check yesterday. She is growing just like she is supposed to. She is starting to chunk up (which I love). The doctor said she had great neck control for her age:) Here are the comparisons between the two girls.

Peyton:
Weight: 10 pounds 15 ounces
Length: 23 1/4 inches
Head: 38 1/2 cm

Presley:
Weight: 11 pounds 3 ounces
Length: 23 inches
Head: 38 1/2 cm

They are so close! Presley weighs a little more than Peyton did. It is so fun to compare:)

A Weekend With the D's

We had a great weekend catching and playing hard with our friends Brendan and Jamie and their two kids, Tommy and Gabby. They came in town from Las Vegas. Peyton had so much fun spending time with them. We swam, played in the fountains, ate ice cream, rode on the

rhino, and got to pet a minature horse! We realized how much we miss having them here!

This is Brendan's parents minature horse. This was Peyton's first encounter with a horse her size. She was nervous at first but Tommy showed her there was nothing to be afraid of.

Amelia Island

Well, were back! We had a great time in Florida and Peyton wore herself out! The resort catered to families and their kids so Peyton took full advantage. We hung out at the pool and beach one day and then toured the historic district another. Trevor's company paid for a nanny service one night so Peyton got to hang out with all the other 2 and 3 year olds all night long. I have to admit we were alittle nervous to leave her but when we checked up on her half way through dinner and realized she didn't miss us at all, we felt better. Here are a few pictures from our trip. I will try and get some other ones up later on. The first on is Peyton at the pool enjoying her kiddie cocktail. So cute! Daddy and his two girls.

Shark!!! Peyton wasn't to sure about this fake shark. She wouldn't even let Trevor put his hands near it. We all got a good laugh at her facial expressions.
So now we are back to the dry heat and trying to get back onto a routine. The weather was so wonderful in Florida. It wasn't very humid and there was a constant breeze which kept it nice and cool.

Bath Time Babes

One of our favorite times of the day is bath time. Presley enjoys them until Peyton gets in and splashes her and then bath time is over for her. Peyton would hang out in the tub all day if we would let her. Life is good. (Presley is starting to get chunkier:):))

Fun at the Fountains

My sister Lindsay and I took Peyton to Desert Ridge to get a break from the heat and play in the fountains. Peyton had a great time throwing water on everyone and watering the trees. She even managed to get Presley wet:) Luckily Presley is a good sport about it and the 110 degree weather dried her up in a matter of seconds.
