Our first night in San Diego we stayed at the Hilton Mission Bay. Wonderful hotel and we had the best room with a huge grass area for the kids to run and play on. Also on this grass was a mama duck and her babies. For those of you who know Presley you also know she LOVES animals. So when the mama and her ducklings came across the lawn, Presley went and sat with them. Well needless to say, mama duck did NOT like that at all. So next thing I know, mama duck is on Presley's head and pecking at her chest and back! Oh no she didn't!! So mama Wilde had to go and karate kick the angry mama off Presley's head. I was so worried about saving Presley I didn't even realize I had mad her even more mad. Luckily, my sister in law Dani was right behind me hitting mama duck with my shoe. Mama duck eventually backed down. Presley was fine and did have some wounds but after talking to 4 different doctors, who all said the same thing, we didn't need to worry about diseases or anything. With all the screaming and crying going on I didn't get a picture of Presley's wounds. I am not sure if Presley learned her lesson...we asked her an hour later if she still wanted to go sit with the ducks and her reply was....YES.
Mama Duck...she looks nice, but she is a B%$#@!

Phew, that was crazy!
I am sorry to hear about Peytons little wounds but that was seriously the BEST story ever! I can't even believe that...I have no idea what I would have done. And you friend beating the duck with her shoe is awesome!!!
OMG.....I would have freaked out! Glad she is Ok. Wish you had that one on video...tee hee.
