Halloween Spirit

To start getting into the Halloween spirit the girls and I did a Halloween craft.  I saw this on someone elses blog and thought it looked easy.  The girls had a lot of fun painting and they turned out ok....Trev didn't quite understand what we were doing.  Anyhow, it is just for fun and to decorate the house.  Peyton is really into Halloween and dressing up this year which is making this so fun!

It is suppose to be a spiderweb with spiders crawling on it :)

Presley Starts Dance

Presley finally got to start dance this week!  She has been dying to go into the dance room and dance since Peyton has started.  Well it was finally her turn.  However, this is the only picture I got of her because once we got there she really didn't want to dance without Peyton.  She laid on the floor and was really into all the accessories.  I bought her a dance bag so she would have her own (just like big sis) and she was so excited she kept checking on it and moving it from place to place around the room.  She was definitely really cute doing it.  We are hoping for a little more listening and dancing next week :)

La Jolla

Trevor and I took the girls to La Jolla for the long weekend.  We had such a great time spending time together.  We went with some friends who have kids the girls ages so we loved spending time with them as well.  The girls were so good and we only had one meltdown the entire time!!!  The weather was perfect and we were able to go to LegoLand for the first time, go to the beach, have a pool day and eat at some really yummy restaurants.

Peyton and Blake were so cute dancing.  They were twirling each other around and he would dip her.  Very entertaining.

Our friends have a boat that stays docked in the marina so we stopped by and enjoyed the view.

Peyton's First Day of Mini 4's

I know I am really behind on my blogging!  I will make a better effort at getting things posted.  With that said, Peyton started school again and is now is the mini 4's program. She loves her new teachers and is meeting tons of new friends. It is amazing how much older and more mature she seems.  She has also started back up in dance and gymnastics and will be starting soccer in a few weeks.

GiGi

I wanted to do a quick shout out to my mom or as the girls call her GiGi.  The last 2 weeks we have been meeting for lunch and it has been so great for the girls and me.  We get to see her all dressed up in her work attire, it breaks up our day, and we get to spend more time with her!  For those of you who have kids you know that when you go to lunch you don't really get to visit with the person you are with. You are telling your kids to eat, sit down, don't do that, take them to the bathroom, clean up spills and then it is time to go.  So I LOVE that my mom knows this and still calls me to meet her for lunch!  We know it can't happen every week but we wish it could!  Then I get to listen to the girls fight over whos GiGi she is.....fun car ride home for me.

Mom, we love you and love being with you.  Thank you for always being there for the girls and building a relationship with them that I know they will cherish forever.  You are always at their events, available to babysit, and now our new favorite lunch date!  We love you!

Coronado Island

We went to Coronado Island last weekend and had the BEST time.  We weren't there very long but we rocked the beach and spent the entire day there.  There were tons of kids in our group so the kids played all day and the adults relaxed.  Crazy thought to think we got to sit and enjoy our kids playing!  Awesome.

Presley Turns 2!

Our Sweet Baby Girl is 2 Today!  Time has gone by so fast and she is growing up before our eyes.  She is so amazing and she has forever changed our lives.  We love her so much!  She brings so much joy and happiness to everyone she meets.  She is feisty, confident, independent, sassy, a snuggler, a lover, a hitter (just the last few days), an eater, queen pouter, and one of the most beautiful little girls we have ever seen.  We thank God for her and her sister Peyton every day and feel incredibly blessed to call her ours.

Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate.  She is spoiled by all those we love her and take care of her.  We have such amazing family and friends and are so lucky to know all of you!
